New Sleepy Poet item

This lovely headboard and bedside table are now at the Sleepy Poet. When I first saw them I thought I'd have to keep them for my daughter, Zoe. But she is more partial to IKEA than shabby chic these days so off it goes! Price $525. (includes rails and a plainish footboard)

A few of my favorite things...

Thought it was time to share a few of the found treasures that I couldn't quite part with. Several of these sat briefly at my booth at Sleepy Poet but are now home with me. I love the glass panels of this old book case that I fell in love with on Craigslist. This would be a good candidate for refinishing or painting--the top is pretty worn and scratched. But I sort of like the worn and comfortable look!
This pew made a brief appearance at my booth at the Sleepy Poet but I quickly realized it belonged at home with me. I was told it was from an old Rhode Island church but it looks like the picture of Southern charm to me.
The same goes for this lovely china cabinet that I got for a steal for $35! I realized it was perfect for my very small dining room and brought it home.

A half moon table that I intended to sell...but my husband loved the primitive look and beautiful finish.

This porch swing was in exquisite shabby shape!
